TRENDS HERE TO GO: What’s Hot, What’s Not, and What’s Creepin’ Up Next

Alright, let’s get into it. I see a lot of people talking about what’s trending, but I get to watch it happen in real time—300+ faces a day, different styles, different vibes. So here’s my top five trends I’ve been seeing, plus one extra that I think is about to go crazy. And yes, I’ll tell you how I feel about each—some I’d rock, some I wouldn’t even wear to check the mail.

1. The Fisherman Aesthetic

Im not going to lie—this one caught me off guard. At first I was like, “why do y’all look like y’all just docked a boat in the Hamptons?” It’s giving lobster trap realness. But apparently it’s a whole thing—coastal layers, utility jackets, bucket hats, and linen everything.

It’s cool or i guess, but I feel like it only hits if you live near water… or have a boat. So yeah, I’m not mad at it, but it’s not really my lane.

Would I wear it? Maybe if I’m brunching in Cape Cod.

2. Return to Office Core

This isn’t even a trend, it’s survival. People had to stop working from home and start getting dressed again. So now it’s like, how do I look good at work without feeling like I’m suffocating in polyester?

I’m seeing more relaxed suits, fun colors, and gender-neutral options—which I like. It’s like, “yeah, I’m at work… but I still got style.”

Also, I need y’all to remember that episode of The Office when Stanley wore women’s pants? That’s how I feel every time I see a man in cropped slacks with no socks.

3. Ballet Sneakers

When I first heard about this, I thought y’all were just throwing words together. But then Rosé popped out in those Puma Speedcats and suddenly I was listening.

These are like the lovechild of a sock and a sneaker—super comfy, super sleek, and low-key fly. I already know the girls are gonna eat this up. But I’m curious to see how they roll this out for the guys. You keeping it soft? You making it streetwear? What’s the move?

Right now, JW PEI has the best ones I’ve seen.

Would I wear it? Definitely. Already got ‘em in the cart.

4. Boho’s Back (Again)

Boho never really leaves, it just chills in the background until everybody gets tired of minimalism. Then boom—fringe, layers, earth tones.

I’ve always liked Boho when it’s done right. It’s giving Free People, Zara, Aritzia… throw on a maxi skirt and a bunch of rings and you’re good.

Would I wear it? Yep. It’s a vibe for spring and summer.

5. Y3K

Now this? This is fire.

Y2K walked so Y3K could fly—literally. Think shiny textures, metallics, weird sunglasses, and a little bit of “am I in a video game or nah?” It’s creative, it’s bold, and it lets you have fun with fashion.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Korea had a hand in this—it gives K-pop streetwear. Either way, I’m here for it.

Would I wear it? Yes. Give me the chrome pants now.

Bonus: Quiet Luxury

We are finally moving past the giant logos and that “look how expensive this is” energy.

Quiet luxury is all about fit, fabric, and details that don’t scream—they whisper. It’s grown. It’s clean. It’s money without trying too hard.

This is for the 30+ crew that still wants to pop out, but do it with finesse.

Would I wear it? All day. Grown Bratt energy.

What’s On Its Way Out

A few things we need to go ahead and let go of:

Low-rise jeans – I don’t need my entire hip bone exposed to prove I’m trendy. Super shredded denim – If I can see both thighs and your phone case through your jeans, it’s time to retire ‘em

Too many bows – Keep it cute, not childish.

Barbiecore – Loved the moment, but we’re done playing dress-up. Cottagecore – The fairytale is over. The milkmaid dresses can chill.

Bratt Watch: Pinup Girl Aesthetic

Y’all. I’m watching this one closely. The pinup girl aesthetic is creeping in real smooth. Cinched waist, bold lip, vintage glam—it’s classy, it’s sexy, it’s timeless.

Give it six months to a year. All it takes is one celeb to wear it right and the whole internet is gonna run with it.

And it’s versatile too—you can rock it in the summer or winter. Can’t wait to see who sparks it off.

Thanks for kicking it with me.
